Before conception we consult gynecologist to know our status whether we are perfect for conception or not. We should definitely consult the physiotherapist to know whether our body is fit to take extra load for 9 months or not.
During pregnancy our spine has to take extra load of the baby, amniotic fluids and placenta. To take this load our spine needs to be healthy and strong enough. As the baby grows, the belly expands and spine changes its curve. With changes of spinal curve there are lots of mechanical changes which occur as it is connected with our lower limbs and upper limbs as well.
